Monologues: You are not alone
with Ian Davis-Huie
For students age 10-15
July 25 -29
Monologues are the classic go-to for auditions and competitions. From comedy to tragedy, they are an actor's classic tool to show off their skills. In this class, students will polish one or two monologues and be ready for the new school year's auditions. Students will round out their character development through further script readings. Parents will have the opportunity to see the students perform at the end of the week.
About the Director: Ian Davis-Huie proudly hails from Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He is a rising senior at Wake Forest University. An Elementary Education major with a double minor in Theatre and Religion, Ian spends much of his time at WFU serving as a student director of the Virtual Tutoring Program and acting on stage. In fact, his first memories of acting were at Little Theatre Shakespeare camps when he was 8 and 9 years old! He is very much looking forward to leading camps this summer at The Little Theatre.
