Costuming 101: Intro to Costume Design is a one-week design camp which will give participants hands-on training and experience in costume designing for the theatre, with over 10,000 costumes, fabrics, and accessories to utilize. Class time will consist of a brief overview of theatrical costume design basics, as well as the history of clothing, timed team and individual "challenges", and a culminating costume parade at the end of the week.
Some sewing experience is strongly recommended as there will be some basic sewing involved in the class. If you need a brush-up on sewing, or don't have sewing experience, you can take our morning class "Intro to Sewing" and receive a $25 discount on this class.
Enrollment is limited for this camp due to spacing considerations, so register soon!
